　　学术诚信标准
　　1、剽窃行为（Plagiarism），故意或者不计后果的发表他人的言论、思想或者想法，而不正确引用来源，以获得评分或者是其他。
　　2、伪造、或歪曲（Falsification, fabrication, or misrepresentation）与学术作业有关的数据引用。
　　3、与学术工作有关但未经允许的与他人合作（Unauthorized assistance or unauthorized collaboration）或者接受他人的协助。
　　4、作弊（Cheating），在考试或者其他学术著作中获得或者试图获得不正当的优势，包括但不限于以下几种情况：
　　a：使用未经允许的材料（包括笔记、书籍、电子信息、电子产品及通讯设备、或者其他）
　　b：代替他人完成任务
　　5、违反学术程序（Violating procedures pertaining to the academic process），包括但不限于以下几种情况：
　　a：违反考试管理或者其他学术作业的要求
　　b：损害考试或者学术作业的安全
　　c：在未经允许情况下，重复提交先前已经提交过的作业。
　　d：参与其他影响评分或者评分的行为
　　6、故意为他人提供虚假信息（Deliberately furnishing false information）等违反学校学术诚信规定的行为。
　　7、篡改、伪造、滥用大学文件（Forging, falsifying, or misusing University documents）、记录、身份、计算机及其他资源等违反学校学术诚信规定的行为。
　　8、违反了其他确保学术诚信要求规定（Violating other University policies）的行为。

　　违规处理流程
　　当学生违反学术诚信规定之后，将会被视为以下三个分类中的一类进行处罚：
　　1、最轻级别（Minimal）
　　违纪情况类别：The student committed academic dishonesty that did not have the potential to (a) allow academic work to be subverted and/or (b) give an undue advantage over other students.
　　处罚结果：警告信。Instructor’s recommended grade sanction, a written letter of warning, and an educational assignment or written apology.
　　2、中等级别（Moderate）
　　违纪情况类别：The student committed academic dishonesty that (a) allowed academic work to be subverted and/or (b) gave or had the potential to give an undue advantage over other students.
　　处罚结果：至少一个学期的留校察看。Instructor’s recommended grade sanction and at least one semester of disciplinary probation.
　　3、严重级别（Major）
　　违纪情况类别：The student (a) allowed a substantial amount of academic work to be subverted and/or (b) gave or had the potential to give a substantial undue advantage over other students.
　　处罚结果：至少一个学期的停学。Instructor’s recommended grade sanction and one semester of disciplinary suspension.
